MEET KOLTON

Kolton Kersten is a bacterial meningitis survivor and a 2x All-American collegiate wrestler. After graduating Midland University in 2015 he coached collegiate wrestling for six years at Northwestern College, Midland University and Iowa Central C.C. where he compiled a total of 22 All-Americans and 5 National Champions. Kolton now offers motivational speeches about his story of surviving hell on earth for one last shot at becoming champion and how to live a fearless lifestyle on your terms. Kolton’s story isn’t about giving or seeking handouts, it’s about pushing forward and finding a way to win in life. To book Kolton as a speaker for your next event make sure to reach out to him in the contacts.

What might be one of the best comeback stories ever known, Kersten rebuilt himself from nothing becoming a 2x All-American, placing 3rd in the Nation at 197 pounds two years later. He survived a disease that gave him less than a 10% chance of survival while effected every organ in his body. The disease ate away his flesh, causing a risk of limb amputation. He lost 65 pounds of muscle, lost the feeling in his hands and feet, lost the ability to walk, was put on blood thinners to prevent abnormal clots. Kersten went on to prove that impossible is nothing!

TESTIMONIALS

“We had Kolton at camp last summer and his talk with the teams transcends wrestling and is a lesson for anyone interested in becoming a better human. Kolton has an experience that should be shared on a greater platform.”

Brent Barnes, Head Wrestling Coach, Lake Stevens High School, WA

This letter was received from Fletcher before his life-threatening heart transplant in December of 2017. Kolton reached out to C.T. when he seen him struggling and wanted to thank him for the motivation he offered all while telling him his story. Kolton watched C.T. Fletchers first viral motivational video on YouTube while fighting for his life in the ICU. Fletcher’s video motivated Kolton with the idea that he too could escape hell on earth, achieve his goals and pay it forward through coaching and motivational speaking much like Fletcher has. C.T. Fletcher’s video is posted here. WARNING this video does contain strong language.
